What to Have Ready
• A litter box in an easy to find location
• The same or similar litter your kitten is accustomed to
• Food and fresh water dishes
• Their current kitten food for a gradual transition
• A secure carrier for travel and vet visits
• A scratching post or cat tree
• Safe, kitten-appropriate toys
• A quiet, comfortable space where they can settle in
Nutrition
- Continue their current kitten food at first
- Provide fresh water at all times
- Feed age appropriate, high quality kitten food
- Introduce any new food gradually
